Meet the Staff
After spending nearly 20 years in the corporate environment, Dawn went back to school to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. She joined the staff in 2018 as the Office Manager, responsible for overseeing the staff and assisting Dr. Miller with day-to-day responsibilities. She has a passion for the Enneagram and the MBTI, which aid in developing skills and strengths in people to help them achieve their goals, both professionally and personally.
Dawn married her high school sweetheart, Tim, and they have three awesome kids. In addition to being a busy mom and office manager, Dawn puts her graphic design skills to use as photographer and enjoys pretty much anything that allows her to be creative! She also has a heart for community, volunteering her time at many local not-for-profits such as WBCL, Gigi's Playhouse, and within her church. She also serves as a unit leader with the American Heritage Girls.
She was drawn to the Chiropractic Rehab & Wellness Center because of Dr. Miller's compassion and genuine concern for his patients. She appreciates the unique opportunity to live out her faith at her work, including praying over patients and the monthly staff prayer meeting.
A native of Michigan, Ashley attended Taylor University and received her degree in Spanish Education. She loves languages, and also enjoys teaching English as a foreign language online. She has taught students from over 80 different countries! While attending Taylor University, Ashley met her husband, Ryan, and they have two rescue dogs. As their faith is an integral part of their life, they are active members in their church. Ashley has a variety of interests including exercising, cooking, and painting.Ashley joined the Chiropractic Rehab and Wellness Center in 2019 as the Practice Representative. This was a natural fit for her as she has a passion for health and fitness, and has received chiropractic care since she was a teenager. As a migraine sufferer, chiropractic care has been instrumental in her management of headaches. She is grateful to have the opportunity to share with others the value of these treatments.
If you are an athlete or an aspiring athlete, Mel is the person that you want to have on your wellness journey. She attended Huntington University, where she was a member of the cross-country and track teams. There, she met her husband Cameron, who is also a runner. They have four daughters, who have also begun to show interest in and aptitude for long-distance running.
Mel enjoys working as the Patient Care Coordinator in a chiropractic office that is also a wellness center. She has been able to meet other athletes and be part of their healing processes. “It’s great to see patients who can keep on doing the things they love—like running—after getting the proper treatment here.”
Many of our patients say that the office feels like home and the staff feels like family. Sharon is the main reason for this feeling! She is a Patient Care Coordinator for our office, a retired teacher, and considers her part-time work at the office a joy, a blessing, and even a ministry. Sharon has three married sons, two married stepsons, and twelve grandchildren. Oh! And did we mention that she is Dr. Miller's mom? No wonder it feels like family in the office!
Besides working behind the desk, Sharon is our in-house “shopper.” She keeps the office supply-shelves stocked, coffee and teabags full, and she has learned to make natural, healthy soap in her spare time, which you can purchase at the office!

If you struggle with chronic pain, massage therapy should be part of your wellness journey, and Anne-Therese, one of our Licensed Massage Therapists, is the perfect person to treat you. In 2008, she was in a car accident that changed her life. A vibrant, athletic, busy mom suddenly became bed-ridden with severe pains. She was diagnosed in 2009 with RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy), now renamed CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome). Anne-Therese also suffered from weekly headaches—including migraines and cluster headaches. Her health journey since the accident has been difficult, but she can see and feel the steady improvement that has happened over the past eight years. Through perseverance, diet and lifestyle changes, massage therapy, exercise, and God’s help, Anne-Therese lives a full life in every respect and desires to help you to do the same.
Lori, one of our Licensed Massage Therapists, has been receiving chiropractic care and massage therapy for over ten years to keep tension headaches at bay. She saw such a benefit that she decided to stop doing graphic design full time to pursue a new career as a massage therapist. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Ivy Tech’s Therapeutic Massage program in 2017, Lori is excited to be part of a team that treats the whole person, and not just areas of complaint. She and her husband are kept busy at home with two small children and a cat. In her spare time, Lori enjoys a good book, playing handbells in church, and spending time outdoors.
