Meet the Staff

Dawn Steveson

After spending nearly 20 years in the corporate environment, Dawn went back to school to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. She joined the staff in 2018 as the Office Manager, responsible for overseeing the staff and assisting Dr. Miller with day-to-day responsibilities. She has a passion for the Enneagram and the MBTI, which aid in developing skills and strengths in people to help them achieve their goals, both professionally and personally.

Dawn married her high school sweetheart, Tim, and they have three awesome kids. In addition to being a busy mom and office manager, Dawn puts her graphic design skills to use as photographer and enjoys pretty much anything that allows her to be creative! She also has a heart for community, volunteering her time at many local not-for-profits such as WBCL, Gigi's Playhouse, and within her church. She also serves as a unit leader with the American Heritage Girls.

She was drawn to the Chiropractic Rehab & Wellness Center because of Dr. Miller's compassion and genuine concern for his patients. She appreciates the unique opportunity to live out her faith at her work, including praying over patients and the monthly staff prayer meeting.

Ashley Woldman

A native of Michigan, Ashley attended Taylor University and received her degree in Spanish Education. While attending university, Ashley met her husband, and they now have two rescue pups. As their faith is an integral part of their life, they are active members in their church. Ashley has a variety of interests including exercising, cooking, and painting.

Ashley joined the Chiropractic Rehab and Wellness Center in 2019 as the Practice Representative. This was a natural fit for her as she has a passion for health and fitness, and has received chiropractic care since she was a teenager. As a migraine sufferer, chiropractic care has been instrumental in her management of headaches. She is grateful to have the opportunity to share with others the value of these treatments.

Melissa (Mel) Norris

If you are an athlete or an aspiring athlete, Mel is the person that you want to have on your wellness journey. She attended Huntington University, where she was a member of the cross-country and track teams. There, she met her husband Cameron, who is also a runner. They have four daughters, who have also begun to show interest in and aptitude for long-distance running, and participate in cross-country and track. Mel also enjoys camping and spending time with her cat and dogs. Mel enjoys working as a Patient Care Coordinator in a chiropractic office that is also a wellness center. She has been able to meet other athletes and be part of their healing processes.  “It’s great to see patients who can keep on doing the things they love, like running, after getting the proper treatment here.”

Sharon Loeffler

Many of our patients say that the office feels like home and the staff feels like family Sharon is the main reason for this feeling!  She is a Patient Care Coordinator for our office, a retired teacher, and considers her part-time work at the office a joy, a blessing, and even a ministry. Sharon has three married sons, two married stepsons, and twelve grandchildren. Oh! And did we mention that she is Dr. Miller's mom? No wonder it feels like family in the office!

Besides working behind the desk, Sharon is our in-house “shopper.”  She keeps the office supply-shelves stocked, coffee and teabags full, and she has learned to make natural, healthy soap in her spare time, which you can order at the office!

Mikayla Woodfill

Mikayla is one of our Patient Care Coordinators. She was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and graduated from Carroll High School in 2017. She is currently attending Ivy Tech Community College to become a Geriatric Physical Therapy Assistant. She enjoys working with others and has a passion for helping them reach their goals and getting them to where they need to be. She is also a home health care aide where she goes to patients' houses to help them with their daily tasks, including taking them to places they need to go. Mikayla's hobbies are exercising, shopping, and spending time with her loved ones.

Belle Miller

Belle is one of our Patient Care Coordinators. She just recently graduated from Carroll High School, and she will be attending Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She is passionate about music and performing, and she loves taking part in missions work. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and shopping with her Nana. She lives with her mom, dad, brother, and two dogs Harley and Quincy. Also, make sure you ask Belle about space ice cream- particularly the strawberry flavor!

Dee Seifert

Dee is one of our Patient Care Coordinators. She is the oldest of eleven children. She has been blessed to have married her friend of twenty four years, David. Together they have two beautiful children Alyssa and Brendon. They have an Akita named Maki and a 60 gallon aquarium! Dee graduated in 2008 with an Associates, and a Bachelor’s in Human Services in 2013, both from Indiana Wesleyan University.

As a long-time community volunteer, Dee stays active and loves it. Hoping to motivate and encourage others to engage in service work within our community is top notch to her. She has been a devote member at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in downtown Ft Wayne since 1996. She currently sits on and is actively involved in seven organizations in Ft Wayne. Besides serving her community, her number one pastime is bowling (she had hopes of being on the PWBA). She loves swimming, cleaning, crafts, traveling, playing board games, shopping, singing, and dancing with her family.

Anne-Therese Peterson

If you struggle with chronic pain, massage therapy should be part of your wellness journey, and Anne-Therese, one of our Licensed Massage Therapists, is the perfect person to treat you.  In 2008, she was in a car accident that changed her life. A vibrant, athletic, busy mom suddenly became bed-ridden with severe pains. She was diagnosed in 2009 with RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy), now renamed CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome).

Anne-Therese also suffered from weekly headaches—including migraines and cluster headaches. Her health journey since the accident has been difficult, but she saw the steady improvements that have happened since then. Through perseverance, diet and lifestyle changes, massage therapy, exercise, and God’s help, Anne-Therese lives a full life in every respect and desires to help you to do the same. She has also been married for 25 years and has 3 children.

Lori Arango

Lori, one of our Licensed Massage Therapists, has been receiving chiropractic care and massage therapy for over ten years to keep tension headaches at bay. She saw such a benefit that she decided to stop doing graphic design full time to pursue a new career as a massage therapist. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Ivy Tech’s Therapeutic Massage program in 2017, Lori is excited to be part of a team that treats the whole person, and not just areas of complaint. She and her husband are kept busy at home with two small children and a cat. In her spare time, Lori enjoys a good book, playing handbells in church, and spending time outdoors.

Jeannette Browne

Jeannette is one of our Licensed Massage Therapists. She is embarking on a new career in a new industry, but she has over 20 years of customer service experience. She attended Indiana Tech, Fort Wayne Massage Institute and she is passionate about helping people live healthier, pain-free lives. Jeanette is married to David, and a fun fact about their wedding is that they got married on Halloween among 150 guests dressed in costumes! She loves watching TV, hanging out with friends and family, reading and learning.

Christian Heflin

Christian is one of our Licensed Massage Therapists. She graduated from cosmetology school in 2015 and works full-time at at the Hair Department. Early in life, she knew that there were many professions she wanted to pursue. She created an idea to spend 7 years to learn a skill and become successful at it. In 2018 she decided that massage therapy was the next journey. Helping people heal and feel good is a large passion of hers. She attended weekend classes at Indiana Massage College in Carmel, Indiana. Ten months later she graduated with a diploma in Medical and Sports Massage. Next on her list is either real estate or to become a yoga instructor. Outside of work she enjoys being active in nature. Hiking, biking, and kayaking are her favorites. She is a huge traveler as well! She loves exploring and sight-seeing. Anywhere with water or mountains, she is a happy girl!
