Why get adjusted if you don’t have pain?

1. Why wait until your body falls apart to give it maintenance? We get regular teeth cleanings whether our teeth hurt or not. We get regular oil changes. We get regular medical doctor visits. Adjusting your joints-spine, wrists, ankles, knees, etc increases joint flexibility, which improves overall joint range of motion. Most joint injuries (which means low back pain, neck pain, headaches, knee and shoulder pain) occur due to inflexibility-doing yardwork without being warmed up, picking up your children or grandchildren first thing in the morning with stiff joints, lifting on the job site, the list goes on. Regular monthly adjustments optimize joint function by keeping your joints flexible. This is where stiff joints due to genetics can literally hurt us. The more stiff we are, especially as we get older, the more prevention we need.

2. Optimize sports performance. Dare I say athletes who get adjustments might have a competitive edge? Think about it. Adjusting helps prevent injuries caused by inflexibility, and more flexible joints generate more muscle strength and power by moving through a fuller range of motion. A win win. Star athletes like Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, and Tiger Woods contribute their sports performance in part to regular chiropractic treatments.

3. Optimize our immune systems. Studies show regular chiropractic adjustments boost our immune system by alleviating nerve pressure and stress.

4. Keep yourself informed about health and wellness. Chiropractors focus on keeping our bodies healthy without the use of drugs or surgeries. Regular chiropractic adjustments open up you and your family to healthier, safer medical alternatives.
